The design features a form of a tree with two hands holding a number of leaves. In the center of the coin lies the national Coat of Arms and a palmette, the symbol of the Greek Mint. At the bottom of the coin are the denomination “6 EURO” in Greek, along with the issue year “2017”. The text “INTERNATIONAL YEAR OF SUSTAINABLE TOURISM FOR DEVELOPMENT” in Greek encircles the design.
