Giant pandas (Ailuropoda melanoleuca) playful personality, peaceful demeanour and friendly characteristics.Like old friends, the two giant pandas sit beside one another, both facing the viewer while feeding onbamboo leaves and stalks. Above one pandas head is the Chinese character for friendship, which, along with the engraved words FRIENDSHIP and AMITIE, transforms the wildlife-themedimage into a cross-cultural celebration of friendship. The reverse also features the word CANADA and 2019, along with a P mark that denotesthe plated nature of the coin.
