On the front side of the coin in the central part is an image of the fragment of the ornament. In the upper part there is an inscription "50 ТЕҢГЕ" located in two lines and denoting the face value of the coin, in the lower part there is an inscription "Au 999" denoting the metal from which the coin and its sample are made. On the circumference there is the inscription "ҚАЗАҚСТАН ҰЛТТЫҚ БАНКІ" in the state language.
