In the center is a mosaic image of the trident (a state symbol used by Kyiv Rus Prince Volodymyr the Great) (decorative element local gilding) decorated with a floral ornament and symbolizing the formation of the state, which contributes to the consolidation and development of the Ukrainian nation, its conventional wisdom, traditions and culture; below is the following three-lined legend: 30 (30th Anniversary of Ukraines Independence).

Above is Ukraine’s small coat of arms; there is also the following stylized composition: a mighty oak tree surrounded by sunrays (decorative element – local gilding); the tree top resembles the outlines of Ukraine’s borders; the roots of the tree symbolize certain recent stages in the formation of the Ukrainian state – the Ukrainian People’s Republic, the Western Ukrainian People's Republic, the Ukrainian State, the Directorate of the Ukrainian People’s Republic, and so on; the legend УКРАЇНА (Ukraine) is at the top of the tree; against a smooth background are the following legends: 50 and the graphic symbol of the hryvnia (to the left), and 2021 (to the right).
