In the centre on the mirror section of the disc relief images of a polar bear with a cud, to the right of them below image of a hippopotamus, on the matted zone along the rim at left and above images of the entrance to the Zoo and its habitants: a monkey, an elephant, a giraffe, two birds, a moose, a tiger, to the right contours of the Peter and Paul Church, to the left the inscription in two lines: 150 (150 YEARS), below at the rim the inscription in two lines: (THE LENINGRAD ZOO).
