In the centre the Olympic torch, the inscription above it 2004 (ATHENS 2004), the figures in bounded rings: to the left the statue Discus Thrower, to the right a woman gymnast with a band, at the bottom a stylized image of ancient Greek runners with a Greek ornament under them. The inscription at the top along the rim: XXVIII (THE XXVIIIth SUMMER OLYMPIC GAMES).
