In the central part of the coin remnants of the ducal palatine and the chapel in Ostrw Lednicki. Above it image of the Byzantine staurotheke (cross-shaped reliquary for the wood from the Holy Cross) covered with selective gilding. Along the rim the name of the coin: RELIKTY BUDOWLI PAACOWO-SAKRALNEJ NA OSTROWIE LEDNICKIM (Relics of the Palace and Religious Complex in Ostrw Lednicki).

The obverse depicts a floor plan of the ducal palatine and the chapel in Ostrów Lednicki next to the spatial model of the complex. In the upper part of the coin – image of the coat of arms eagle established as the national emblem of the Republic of Poland. Below it – mint mark: m/w. Right hand, on a separate matt surface – year of issue: 2015. Below it – horizontal inscriptions: RZECZPOSPOLITA/POLSKA (the Republic of Poland). In the bottom part of the coin, next to the rim – face value: 20 ZŁ.
