At center, two crossed anchors behind an equilateral triangle, international symbol for Protection and Prevention. Over the triangle the symbols for ground, air and sea, through which, Mexicos Navy fulfils its duty to assist civil population. Ground is represented by a K-9 team formed by a Navy Seal and a dog, mainly for search and rescue. Air is represented by a helicopter, used to transport personnel, materials, and allows for the rescue in hard-to-access zones.
