The inner part of the coin features the Belisarios bust, rounded by the legends Enriqueci a la Patria above head, and 1863-2013 below Mexicos mintmark (M) in the right flank. In the outer rings upper margin there is the legend Belisario Domnguez. On the left side of the coin there is the legend 100 Aniversario Luctuoso, and in the right side 150 Aniversario de su Nacimiento. And in the lower margin or exergue, the denomination $20. The coins outer ring bears quadrangular and triangular friezes.
