20 Hryven 190th Anniversary of Birth of Taras Shevchenko, Ukraine

There is depicted the portrait of Taras Shevchenko with facsimile, on the both sides of the portrait there is a composition consisting of characters of his poems; there are the semicircular inscriptions: above - (Our Spirit Never Can be Downed) beneath - (Our Striving To Be Free).

Above there is the semicircular inscription: УКРАЇНА (Ukraine); beneath in three lines - 20 ГРИВЕНЬ 2004 (20 Hryvnia/2004), as well as - designation of the metal, its fineness and the coin weight in fineness.
