Designed by Canadian artist Charles Vinh, your coin is reminiscent of traditional Chinese papercuts and centres on two cranes as they stand poised on a pine tree branch. A side profile of these revered birds perfectly showcase the sharp contrast between their white primary feathers and their black neck, as well as the darker wing and tail feathersthat flow down behind them. The pair is turned towards the left, which features the Chinese symbol for longevity. The pine tree that fills the lower and top portion of the image field further strengthens the images message, which bestows upon the owner a blessing to live as long as the pine and crane.
