100 Roubles The Battle on Kulikovo Field, Russia

In a glassy oval of the centre a battle scene, to the left a troop of Russian warriors galloping with drawn swords, above them a waving gonfalon with the image of the Saviour, behind them to the left a mighty tree, to the right a troop of the Golden Horde warriors armed with bows and galloping towards the Russian warriors, above them flying arrows, behind them to the right two jurts (nomads tents). In the upper part of the coins disc stylized images of the sun, moon and stars. On the matted sector of the coins disc framing the glassy oval, at the top the host of celestial patrons, at the bottom smallstylized figures of three birds and three wolfs with open chaps. In the lower part of the coins disc a cartouche with the inscription in four lines: 625 (THE 625THANNIBERSARY OF THE BATTLE ON KULIKOVO FIELD), to the left from it a shield and a sword, to the right a bow and a quiver with arrows.

In the centre – the Emblem of the Bank of Russia [the two-headed eagle with wings down, lower – the semicircular inscription – «БАНК РОССИИ» (BANK OF RUSSIA)] framed by a circle of dots and inscriptions along the rim: at the top – «СТО РУБЛЕЙ» (ONE HUNDRED ROUBLES), at the bottom – the year of issue «2005», the letters to the left indicate the metal sign and the fineness, to the right – the fine metal content and the mint trade mark.
