22 incuse fleurs-de-lis in a plain field. There are two edge varieties: fleurs-de-lis up and fleurs-de-lis down. The first step to mint these coins was pressing the edge design into the flan. Then, the blanks with their edge already pressed entered randomly between the dies, causing the two orientations of the fleurs-de-lis. It is estimated that there is a 50% chance of each variety.
