The obverse of the original coin shows the crowned shield of Philip III with the barracks of Castile and Leon, Aragon and Sicily, Granada, Austria, old and modern Burgundy, Brabant, Flanders, Tyrol and the coat of arms of Portugal in the center of the half higher. On both sides of the shield, appear the mark of the Real Casa de la Moneda of Madrid and the face value of the original coin, which has been replaced by the one corresponding to this issue.
