The reverse of the coin bears the image of the seal of the Educational Commission of the Commonwealth of the Two Nations with the Latin inscription Collegium Praefectorum Publicae Institutioni (College of Directors of Public Education) and a symbolic book with the cover of a primary school textbook, reprinted in 1783 by the printing house of Vilnius University, which was reformed by the Educational Commission. The reverse also bears the quotation from the Educational Commissions first circular in Lithuanian: jaun moni lavinimas ir vietimas vienintel tvarios valstybi laims slyga (the exercise and education of the young is the only condition for states constant happiness). The composition is surrounded by the inscription Abiej Taut Respublikos Edukacin komisija (Educational Commission of the Commonwealth of the Two Nations), 250.
