Crowned and armored figure of King Karl IX, wearing a long mantle, stands with head turned left. King has outstretched arms with raised sword in right hand and in the left the Globus Cruciger. At his right there is a small table with crossed scepter and key. Three small shields are at King's feet: shield with the Three Crowns of Sweden at left; shield with Arms of the House of Vasa between King's legs; shield with Folkungs Lion at right, below the table. All is within a circle with legend outside, together with the radiant name of Jehovah in hebrew above King's head.
